Carolyn writes breeding to a black dog may intensify the red color...this is
interesting because I was always told since black had nothing to give but black
it would actually produce less color. So, if I bred a black to a black and tan
I might end up with a black and creme or black and silver. This is not true
then? and since I'm asking questions...what happens if you breed a white to a
black and tan? or for that matter a black? thanks, Sue
