Lincoln, Smithfield, Ri, Bella, spooky girl escaped boarding kennel. 8/19/09
Bella, a very shy, very spooky fawn female climbed the fence at the boarding
facility near the Lincoln track last Tuesday. Her family went on vacation and
left her there to be cared for. They won't be back until Wednesday.
Bella was an "Oops Puppy" raised by her family. She's just two years old.
She stayed on the track grounds and it was thought that she could be
reeled in, but last night she took off. She was seen last about three miles
driving
distance, but one mile cross country, from the track, on the Lincoln side of
Whipple Road in Smithfield. A feeding station was set up for her, and she was
seen eating from it at about 11:30 last night, though she is wearing a
muzzle.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Now that she's left the track
grounds, we need to put up flyers, and keep the feeding station under
surveillance. Pat Bromley is leading the search, and she can be reached at

8/24 SIGHTING: running down Whitman and High Streets (in the middle of the
street still wearing her yellow muzzle).
8/25 SIGHTING: The last sighting was right in front of the Smithfield
Town Hall.
She was trotting on the sidewalk up Route 104 toward Route I-295
