[ SHOWGSD-L ] missing Airedale gone from Gonzalez, La.

An Airedale was moveed out of the Gonzalez, La., shelter just hours before
her owners arrived. The shelter says it has no record of where she went.
Has anyone heard anything about where the Gonzalez dogs are going?
This is a female Airedale, groomed fairly recently, standard size 23" and
about 45#.
This is really sad. Rescue offered to take the dog and find her owners (had
a contact volunteer working at the shelter), but wasn't allowed to take her.
This dog had been left with a pet sitter while the owners were out of town.
Katrina struck before they could return and somehow the Airedale ended up in
the shelter. When the owners finally tracked her down and arrived in
Gonzalez, the dog was gone.
Any help in locating her will be appreciated. You can call Jim Mondorl at
(504) 975-0549 -- Any time of the day or night if you see an Airedale in a
shelter.
Tell the shelter staff the story and tell them that she is likely owned and
that the owners will jump on the next plane to come and see if she is their
dog.
