I went to my first National with Ellen Heintz--1980, Niagara Falls. I will
NEVER forget GV Ch Aspen of Fran-Jo gaiting around the ring--the way he covered
ground was breathtaking--I KNOW that dog could have herded sheep all day, with
that movement. My love of sables began after seeing him.
I haven't been to our National since Painesville, Ohio. This year I decided to
bite the bullet and go. I took 3 personal days at school--my high-schoolers
think it's "way cool" that I'm going. I'm flying in Tuesday night and I cannot
wait to see everybody--and my Jeddie that I haven't seen in months!
