If this is true it's an outrage.....I'd have quit the board that very 
minute....we are a club trying to promote the betterment ( Penny or Peggy is 
that a word) of a DOG...National security is NOTat stake here.......the board 
gets criticized fairly and unfairly...it goes with the territory...ya do what 
you believe is right and let others take their best shot.....this really 
disturbs me, not many things do, but this is worst than changing the location 
of the National to me....please say it aint so...Edwin Bernard Hill!

Everyone's opinion is important...I don't block anyone even those I prefer   
not to hear from.  They might just come up with something I agree  with. 
  
Sally is surely what you see is what you get along with many others in this 
 totally crazy dog world. 
  
But mentioning the gag order has brought something interesting up. 
  
Apparently at our last board meeting a motion was put on the floor to   
basically put a gag order on members of our board.  The very sad 
 state.....it 
was supported and passed. 
  
Our board members are NOT to answer on any list any questions about the   
club or board in any official capacity.  The only communication is to be on   
Constant Contact with approval of the president AND the exec  committee.     
Let this sink in a little folks, and also, think  what the purpose of the 
exec committee is. It is in place to handle the emergent  dealings of the club 
when it is not feasible for the whole board to get  together, and their 
actions are to be approved at the next board meeting by the  whole board. 
 NOT 
to filter information to the members of the club, or non  members for that 
matter. 
  
Our president now can not in any official capacity answer your questions on 
 this list IF she abides but this ridiculous, and I would come close to 
saying,  unlawful motion.  This is removing freedom of speech as all of you 
know  when Tish or any president answers something on the list it is not Joe 
  
who....when elected as president or a board member, we view their responses 
in  regards to the position they hold. 
  
Situations like this need an outcry from everyone as to what on God's green 
 earth is going on here! 
Call a board member and confirm this.    There are some no  longer on this 
list particularly who want to ensure they know outflow of any  kind.....so 
have attempted to guarantee that they have dealt with this. 
  
My next question for those board members that passed this and I dare you to 
 answer.....what are you going to do when a board member breaches this, 
because  remember, you cannot through them out....only the membership can.
