Our club has always done our best to take our judges out for a nice dinner, and
lunch at the show is always on us. Breakfast is often offered by the hotel, if
you like straight carbs for a meal, and watered down coffee. But it is enough
that we have never had a complaint.
And I have been told by more than one judge that I am a good driver.
It all works out well.

So all the judges have is breakfast and dinner. Here you have to eat a lot
to spend $10 on Breakfast and you can always get a good steak for $20. We don't
allow for alcohol . We don't want hung over judges in the am. and trust me
it happens.
So we allow for $35 per day for meals.This is South Dakota. New York would
be much more.
I know I have been out to dinner with judges that look for the most
expensive thing
they can find one the menu just because the CLUB is paying for it.
CLUB's entries are down and expenses (TRANSPORTATION) for one are up.
We judges need to be more considerate of the club's that choose to hire us.
Don't over do the meals and IF you see that there is someone you can share a
room with , offer to do so. Judi
