[ SHOWGSD-L ] lynx - OT

Just now I was coming down the road to my house, and I saw a lynx run across
the road. I stopped when I got to that spot and he was still there eating what
I guess was a mouse he just caught. He just walked 4 ft then laid down about 10
ft from my car. I stayed and watched him for a while. The dogs barked a couple
of times when I talked to him but he still did not run . He was as big as a
small mountain lion. Some boys came along in a truck as I left and they backed
up and looked at him when I told them he was there. ( he still stayed there )
I originally thought it was a Bob Cat but they said that it was a lynx . I
looked it up when I got home and I think they are right. Shorter tail, bigger
back feet. I had thought about taking my camera before I left, too bad I
didn't. Awesome!!
