I have lost a beloved dog to hemangiosarcoma as well, and if we had a
test/marker for this test (maybe we do and I don't know about it?) Then I would
totally be in favor of requiring this one.
However I will still look at the individual tests from the point of view "what
does this tell me about the health of my dog", not so much about the
requirements of an award.
I agree this will affect PR of our breed and perception, but I think I'm
discussing apples while other people are talking oranges?
I care whole heartedly about the health of our breed and I give my opinion
based on that and NOT on what constitutes requirements for a CHIC. I will let
others worry about how to increase participation.
