It would be interesting to go back and record the number of selects each
year for the last, say, 20 years. It would also be interesting to see if any
of the "low selects" (high numbers) ever made it to "high select" (low
numbers) or even GV and GVX in a subsequent year....Offhand, I can think of
one GV(who also was a top producing ROM) who was Sel 3 one year, did not go
select the next year, then went GV the 3rd year.......So, who's to say that
the "low selects" or dogs that were cut, couldn't be up there under a
different judge?
