I found this to be interesting. It is a post from old friends who went
into Collies after showing shepherds for years. For the past ten years or so
they have been winning with their Collies.
I liked the comment about health problems. We are not alone.

numbers to a couple and going back to shepherds, maybe even trying to show
again..... they are the best all around dog, the collies definitely have
their fair share of health issues."
