Here is a very insightful blog from one of the three permanent veternarian
missionaries in Haiti with the Christian Veternarian Mission. This blog is
from Kelly Crowdis and is a first-hand description of conditions is Haiti. She
has been in Haiti for a long time. Kelly was a veternarian here in Lynchburg,
Va with the emergency vet clinic and was on of the most compassionate, caring
Vets I have met. The selfish side of me wishes she would set up a practice
here.

As far as sending money the best thing would be to send it through CVM -
Christian Veterinary MIssion, they have a special Haiti fund set up. The money
will be used for a variety of things - mostly people related as right now there
are not that many animal problems.

just mark it for Haiti. Money is the best thing for now. Supplies will be
needed but the logistics right now are hard.
