My 8 year old male tore both knee ligaments. After recovering from the 1st knee surgery I took him back for the 2nd and the vet said that the 1st knee does not look good. No muscle in the rear and that the 2nd knee getting done would not help the dog to become normal. His hips and spine are good, he eats and can use the potty fine. The vet says that arthritus will set in to the 2nd leg and he will just get worse. People are saying I should put him down. He is at the vet now. He is my favorite dog. Some say I am being selfish not to put him down, that he is not going to have any quality of life. I have 2 hours to get back with the vet. Any input please. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2006.
