When it gets really hot here, I start saving empty gallon jugs (milk, gatorade etc), putting water in them and freezing overnight. Then I put one in each dog's doghouse - they can lie next to it, lick it and of course by the end of the day it's all melted, but I think it helps. I just put them back in the freezer and they are good to go the next day. Yes - some dogs end up playing with them to the point they no longer hold water LOL but it's a pretty cheap toy.
