Iza, If you knee the dog as he's jumping up, he'll stop--he'll think he's doing it to himself. It's all in the timing. He won't even think that YOU are doing it to him. (Kneeing even worked with my ex-husband--he, he, he. . .) Penny **************************************************************************************** What would everyone recommend to teach a dog NOT to jump all over me ?????? I have tried everything (or so I thought) & this dog just doesn't get it - I'm sure I am not doing something right, but I just don't get IT !!!!! I have tried grabbing and holding his paws while he is jumping on me - NOW - he just "half-ass" jumps on me and as soon as I am caught off- guard, he is ON me. Of course I've tried putting my knee up, but he thinks it's a game. Seriously, I am ready to seek professional help in this matter - I HATE dogs jumping all over me. Any suggestions ?
