Syd Clapping is a way of showing appreciation for a nice dog. A person who holds a judges license has been first an exhibitor and then a breeder. We want to show enthusiasms just as much as the next person. Or maybe you want to show support for a friend. And I tell you that from the inside of the ring, applause usually tells the judge that this is a local favorite or someone that has a lot of friends. If a judge is swayed by applause, she has not business judging in the first place. Carol ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2004.
