[ SHOWGSD-L ] ivomec as a heartworm preventative

My vet just told me we are all overdosing at 1/10 cc per 10 lbs. She
said
she recommends no more then .4 of a cc for an adult and do not use on
puppies.

That is the correct dose (.4) for heartworm. If you are worming it's a
higher dose. Susie
The recipe from my vet - 1 cc ivomec in 90 cc propylene glycol. Give 1
cc per 40 lbs once monthly.
