Stormy, Is this a rule re: off label rx use animal control can enforce? I'm wondering how animal control would know if I was using it as hw preventative, bc it's not a law (at least here in SC) that a dog be on hw preventative. What about off label dewormer such as fenbendazole we can get labeled for goats, or pyrantel pamoate for human pin worm treatment? Granted I work in the veterinary medical field as a licensed tech, first in general practice, now in specialty internal medicine, but so many medications are used off label. Some actually rx'd by the vet and some not. Wonder how this would be enforced. I find this really interesting. I just ran across my articles re: what to do if animal control comes knocking. One more thing to add to my list. Hide ivermectin. ;) Catherine Morton LVT Sent from Yahoo!
