True story, that I haven't told to this point.
I judged an all-breed one time years ago.
I was having breakfast with another judge, and he was interested that I
judged German shepherds. He asked me, "Is the Leroy Brown dog a good German
shepherd? I gave him a group one, and wondered if he really is any good?"
It floored me, and I didn't know how to respond. I had a number of things to
say and I settled on: "You did a good job, he is one of the great ones."
But, I will never forget that conversation.
