Not so fast! Canine Caviar is also made this way...
nothing but the stated meat and water. Unfortunately,
they have issued a recall of 2 of their products today.
And lucky me! I have 10 cans of the recalled meat
sitting in the kitchen -- 2 out of the case of 12 have
been fed already. It seems that their contract partner,
American Nutrition, has decided to "freelance" with
their formula without the permission or knowledge
of the company. At this point, they haven't determined
there to be any real danger and haven't found any
contamination. But they are recalling anyway to be
on the safe side.
My hubby (the corporate tool!) wants me to feed the
food and says I'm paranoid. I'm not. What I am is
STEAMING MAD!!!!!!!!
How dare these contract-canners think they can do
whatever they want?? I hope they all go out of
business!!
Seriously thinking about buying a freezer and
going raw!
