If a specialty club wanted to donate money to an All Breed club to off set the
cost of flying in a Specialty judge would that be against the rules?

Okay...I will get them to let Sally judge Poodles, Chows & Shiba Inu's! :)
Seriously though, there are All Breed clubs that have good relationships
with Specialty Clubs and will take Specialty judges who only do GSD's...IF
they believe they will draw a decent entry that warrants bringing them
in...and they aren't coming from acrossed the country. Also, if the
Specialty club supports the entry and/or donates a few nice prizes they will
take a list of Specialty judges to choose from too.

All-breed shows often curtail their cost by hiring multiple breed

The more Specialty judges accept assignments at all breeds, the less
assignments the "all arounders" have to take and screw it up! lol
