[ SHOWGSD-L ] input needed

Our club, GSDC of Beaumont, has been given permission to come to a public
school and do a responsible dog owner day. All grades will be allowed to
meet with us individually in an auditorium setting.
We plan on having 4-5 club members and at least 4 dogs. Of course, we
want to work up something a bit different for older kids.....younger kids will
have basic questions and just want to pet a dog I am sure.
Am asking for input from the list, privately of course, for some thoughts
on topics we need to expand on. We have some good idea's from within, but
always look forward to the thoughts from others.
If this works well, we may try to get involved with other schools and
perhaps 4 H.
Education is always the highway and we do feel good exposure to breeders
will help kids make educated choices when PETA/HSUS targets them.
