I think that sometimes it does affect the entries. Human nature, being what
it is, for some reason likes to believe the negative before the positive in
situations like this and at times people out-think themselves when strategizing
their campaigns. If some of the seasoned exhibitors buy into these rumors,
what must the newbies think? I truly don't believe that we became judges to
become crooks. How can anyone predict what an honest judge will do when the
judge doesn't know him/herself until the hour on the day?
