Ignorance about hips and a palpating fad cost a lot of people a lot of good
dogs.
Have your friend get a new vet, and when she has gotten the x-rays, and they
turn out good, take them to the x-ray vision vet and tell him to have his
eyes adjusted.
What a moron.
