I believe we are having A course ducks as well.....not because we want "to
attract border collies" but just to add to the fun! Out here on the west
coast there are a lot of duck trials in conjunction with sheep and sometimes
cattle trials as well. It makes for more entries for the club (in this case
OUR Parent Club) and the opportunity for exhibitors to earn more titles on
their dogs.
As to GSDs not being "duck" dogs .....I guess someone forgot to tell all the
GSD's and their owners who have a blast on ducks (including my own) at the
trials out here!!!
