[ SHOWGSD-L ] help:puppy gassing a little bloated

I just picked up a rescue puppy that came on a legged transport from Lincoln
Nebraska . He left there this morning at 8 AM their time ( 7 my time). I picked
him up at 8 PM . The last transport fed him and when I met them he was barking
alot and seemed uncomfortable . I noticed he seemed a little bloated and is
gassey .Transporter said that he got gassey after he ate . Drank a lot of
water like he hadn't had a drink in awhile .
I am wondering if I should give him something like gas X . If so does anyone
know what the dosage would be . Any suggestions would be appreciated . He did
go potty just before I picked him up . I am thinking that he is stressed and
hasn't had enough fluids all day .
