[ SHOWGSD-L ] help with idiopathic vestibular syndrome

Hi Guys
Has anyone dealt with this illness ?
Yesterday my 12 1/2 yr. old boy suddenly could not walk , was drooling , and
his eyes were darting from side to side. I thought he was having a seizure
We rushed him to the vet ( thinking it was a stroke) I was given this for a
diagnosis and sent home with anti nausea medication
They say he will improve but he still is so sick I am just beside myself with
worry. He will drink but I can't convince him to eat a bite ( I have cooked
several of his favorite meals)
He is unable to go outside but has managed to get up once today and use paper
in his pen ( in the house)
I have had to cover his dog bed with a blanket because he is kinda damp
I know he has reached a good age and I don't want him to suffer When will I
know he is going to recover?
