[ SHOWGSD-L ] help ? for a friend pet (non gsd)

a friend of mind has 2 male Boston terriers 1 year old
...has not eaten in 2 days but is drinking water and
has normal temp..has not have a stool..yet.said he has
vomit twice and had leaves in his vomit...i look at
the dog and notice that his belly was swollen and
hard....friend said he hasn't change his diet ...I'm
thinking he might have a blockage of some kind(rock)or
some leaves that is poisons i suggested to do xrays
first but he is very tight with money..so is there
anything may he use to lube the dog or stool
softener...don't know any about this breed.
wondering if any has any ideas or suggestion..thanks
