David
Of course there is a lot more to this story than I have outlined in my
little story, but since I understand that there is a CKC investigation
underway, I don't want to say much more about it. But this little thing has
been going on with the same little group for a long time. And a lot of
people knew it but nobody wanted to say anything. I guess most folks figured
that they might want to show under them someday.
And yes, judges should be allowed to show under other judges and yes, a lot
of judges have good dogs. In our little group (GS Dogs) there are a lot of
good dogs and a lot of us are judges.Thats fine. But that is not what I was
talking about here.I am talking about judges trading wins back and forth
almost every time they judge. This is All Breed and I am not talking about a
WD or a BOS now and then. I am talking about Best In Show everytime out.
And what makes the situation worse are the people that keep making excuses
for it. It is inexcusable and has to stop. It is ruining our sport.
Please re-read my e-mail and I am sure you will get the connections.

Not sure I followed this real well Wayne.....
Since most of us in dogs are friends with many in the breed and
socialize together and show dogs to each other, it is important that
we follow the rules, but just showing a dog to another judge is not
against the rules and having that same privilege in reverse is not
either, unless there is some specific relationship to a handler or
family member who is moving from employee to exhibitor within a
certain time frame.

Is that the issue, or is it that judges should not show to judges?
Sometimes judges have good dogs! <G>
Just clarifying.
