In the January ShowSight magazine,there is an article by Peggy Mickelson that
every breeder and exhibitor should read. She proposes some questions from John
Biddie.
These questions pretty much center around one theme : are you doing your best
to breed
better dogs, not just winning dogs? We all know that the top ranked dog in a
breed is
not necessarily the best dog of that breed. So what has the dog show world
become ?
How far have we strayed from its original purpose ?
