Traveling 2+ days for the nearest futurity is just not feasible for any of
us................for instance if the SE and MA were joined we from Florida
would have to drive for 2 days to get to the closest futurity,,,,,,,,,this
is just unrealistic..................you would have more and more people
dropping out and not participating in the futurities so what will be gained
from that ??
I am for cutting down the costs,,,,,,,$1100.00 for trophies & rosettes
definitely needs to be studied by the board. This high amount could in the
future cause hardships for clubs if they can't come up with the
sponsorships. Especially one that i read only had $12.00 in their bank
account.
Maybe we should start a fund for aid to regional clubs to keep them afloat
by selling auction items on ebay..........afterall, we lose regional clubs
and it's all going downhill !!!
