It is not unusual (nowadays) for clubs to only give "first" place
trophies. This year my local kennel club is only offering Prizes for
FIRST (even) in GROUPS. The club is not willing to absorb the cost, and
we simply don't have enough donors.
Everyone I know seems more concerned with money issues.....except for
the Government which seems to have an unlimited amount. <g>
