[ SHOWGSD-L ] frozen semen ownership

Does anyone know how to go about signing on as owner to frozen semen after
the original owner has died. Co-owner still handling semen but no longer
wants to deal with it. Has offered me the job. Do I contact AKC or the clinic
semen is stored?? Obviously both .... not sure where to start??
