[ SHOWGSD-L ] friends dog with wet lungs

Do dogs with pneumonia always cough? My friends vet doesnt think she has
pneumonia because she isnt coughing. She has been on antibiotics for a week and
has got worse. She has lost 10 pounds and no energy now.. not eating much. She
is 11 in November. Border Collie.
Any ideas appreciated

She is in Washington State. They suggest he take her to a vet in Portland..
