One of my shepherds ate a lot of gravel last weekend. Why??? He has been at the vet off and on for the past week. Just came home again this morning. The vet said to feed him chicken and rice the rest of today and then start working him back to his regular food. We have nice formed poop today, but still no gravel which according to the latest xrays is now in the colon. His regular food is Taste of the Wild HP. No grain. Does anyone know if the rice would be a problem with this food? Will it digest at different rates? My vet is clueless about dog food. :)  Kathy ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2011.
