[ SHOWGSD-L ] fly season

New York has been dry and the temperatures in the late 70's low 80's great
weather to walk with the dogs, do bathes, cut nails etc. Today, the flys
decided to come out and get their last licks before the cold weather comes in.
Have any of you noticed that it is usually the last week in August and the
beginning of Sept. that they seem to come out enforce.
Today the old man now, Blockbuster got his bath and is just starting to blow
his coat. he has a fantastic showy plush coat, so out came the citronella
lots of brushing, he immediately decided he didn't want the citronella on his
coat, so needless to say the squeaky clean dog, started to roll around on the
ground to get the stuff off.
Well tomorrow is another day, and I see another bath in his future. Have a
