Why are manufacturers putting fish in dog food? Are we running out of chickens, is that why. I don't recall ever learning that dogs were good fishermen. I ask this question because I literally want to know why fish. As dogs weren't meant to eat grains, we look for a grain-free food, as dogs didn't eat corn in the wild, they shouldn't be eating corn at home. I really always thought they didn't eat fish either. (Growing up on Long Island and fishing all the time, we have certainly given fish, and I know of the benefits.) But, are we running out of other food sources?
