I soak kibble 1/2 hour before feeding. Always have.

I have been feeding kibble dry to all my dogs all these years

breeds before). All my dogs (and there haven't been that many of them)

all their teeth when they died (one aged 18, one aged 10, one hit by

7, one aged 15). I've never had their teeth cleaned and while they
aren't
"show white", my vets comment each year on how clean their teeth are.
For
the last month or so, I've been adding 1/8 of can of tripette to their
food
to help my 6 year old's coat. I just put it in without water. After
they've eaten their food and had a drink, they get one medium sized
milkbone
cookie each to help clean the residue off their teeth. They also have
all
kinds of empty raw marrow bones lying around that they chew on when
they're
bored. I have to note that when my dogs "smile" at people, their teeth
glint a lovely white colour. Sort of a Colgate Growl :-)
