Bill did attempt to submit his resignation as show chair at the meeting.
After discussion, and being so willing to help, he agreed to meet with a
committee of 5 people to look at options that could allow more than 1 person
to put the national together. May be workable and would take some
pressure off.
Not sure when that meeting is scheduled, but I hope he is able to stay and
do the job without
interference.
