I and most if not all of my dog breeder/competitors/owners would never visit
any town/city that imposes such an ordinance on its residents.
I am very disappointed that I will no longer get to visit you as it has been
one of my favorite places to compete in.

We regret as well that you will not be visiting, as nothing in our
ordinance applies to visitors to our city. If you notice, Animal
Ordinance 91.006 states that anyone visiting for less than 30 days is
free from the requirements we have to license or regulate domestic pets,
other than a proof of rabies, which would be required anywhere you
visit.
Thanks for your note and we appreciate your concern to avoid violating
any of our ordinances. It is unfortunate that so many people choose to
overlook the concessions our city council made for the folks that visit
for the dog shows.
