signals.

In the Whittier quake, I was on the way to downtown Los Angeles to meet a
client in the prison. All of a sudden my car was in the lane to the right
of me, and the radio went off the air. I figured that my car was broken so I
was going to pull over, but traffic was too busy so I went on.
I then was standing in line to get into the jail when the ground started to
rumble and more. I looked around and went back to the office.
After living in Michigan for 35 years and out here for 35, I have to say I
would rather have an earthquake than a tornado. We had a great earthquake
while the national was here. I was in the ring and the building shook, the
sound system above swayed from side to side and there was a loud boom.
All the California people ignored it. Those from the East turned white.
It is just what you are used to. What can we expect for excitement in
Kansas? Will we have Toto there?
