BY AKC RULE you may use only water,
However Pigment shampoos/ chalks etc that are used to change or "bump up
color" it is fraudulent. And yes if you insist on showing a dog that would
be limping w/o painkillers to mask it, for whatever reason...that is
fraudulent. Anything that changes or adds to pigment...any drug that
enhances, masks pain, or calms down for performance in the ring...sorry no
excuses for any of it.
