The Ivandawg is not an affectionate kind of guy, but he shows it through his willingness to please and protectiveness. He's perfectly happy to let the other kids get most of the affection--he runs with them to greet me, then patrols the yard. He's one of these that says "I love you!" with his eyes when we're working together. Kela leaps straight in the air and sticks her nose in my eye. It doesn't matter which one, just a cold wet nose right in the eyeball will do. She'll do anything for food from anyone, but she only nose bombs the people she loves. Gizmo runs and leans against your legs. He doesn't stick around for a whole lot of petting, he's a year old now so he's trying his wings, but he stops and comes to lean when he wants to say "I love you." Interestingly, none of them show "typical" doggie affection, licking your hand or the usual stuff. They all have their own personalities. They all can be seen on my website, below. Just wanted to contribute. :) Liz in Utah Visit my website at http://hometown.aol.com/rckyiizard/index.html ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2004.
