I have my 8 year old on his first bag of Canidae Platinum, and so far, I'm pleased. I chose it because 1) it's lower in protein [18%], 2) I like Canidae's ingredients. My 7 year old bitch is on Drs. Foster and Smith's Lite formula because she got WAY too fat. She's lost weight on it and her coat is lovely.
