I believe some folks hit that delete key when they should take time to
read and understand what is happening with dog legislation -- that is,
anti dog legislation--... and it is happening all over everywhere ...

One law that HAS passed - and those of us on the East Coast need to keep
in mind - in the state of PA, you must have your dog crated or contained
(belted into a 'doggie seat' or similar) or behind a secure barrier
containing the dog in the rear of the vehicle / cargo area of the
vehicle. If your dog is riding loose with you (as many Cavaliers do!)
and you are involved in a traffic accident - even if someone else hits
you - you will be charged - because your dog was loose in your car! Do
be careful to find out the rules - especially when you travel!
