[ SHOWGSD-L ] discharge after spay?

Hi Guys, Got a call today from a worried owner. She got her bitch
spayed, (she is 14mos) and she started having a vaginal discharge. The
discharge is some blood with mucous. It is not coming from her incision.
They put her Clavamox on Fri. so she has had 2 full days so far of
antibiotics. This morning she said the blood was real 'red' later on
today she said it was dark blood. Both combined with mucous.
Temp , appetite ,energy etc is all normal.
Is a discharge afterwards normal?
What causes that?
Anything to worry about?
