My Hero was "Sarge.." Black Oak's Sargent Pepper,T.T.
He was a grandson of Sel.Ch.Bel Vista's Joey Baby,ROM, and he saved my life
at the age of eight months.It was because of Sarge's story, that Blanche
Beisswenger
came to the GSDCA with her idea of a Hero Dog Award. He was the GSDCA Hero
Dog for 1980, Missouri's Most Heroic Dog Of The Year Award Winner, and ARA Hero
Dog. Sarge saved me from being strangled during an attempted robbery at my
job.
