[ SHOWGSD-L ] dangerous & vicious pt 2

they talked to a lawyer before they went to court-- the lawyer said it was
not a criminal offence.and they would not need his services.
Well needless to say after court and the ruling, my friends called the
lawyer back and now the lawyer will go with them for the appeal.
My understanding -
its a VA law that if a dog runs towards you ( and is still on the owners
property) and is barking, its an emotional attack
