[ SHOWGSD-L ] dachshund

My daughter, who doesn't ask for much, wants a miniature Dachshund for
her birthday. I can't imagine having any other breed living with me,
and if so, that breed would NOT be my choice, but what the heck. I hear
that they are next to impossible to housebreak and will basically
urinate in your house their entire lives. Can anyone give any hope here?
