If you go to gsdca.org , then click on About the GSDCA, then from the
drop down menu click on Purpose
IT lists the reasons the club was founded back in 1913 and no where does it
mention that it was formed for conformation dogs. Those who care will go
look

going in to obedience with a GSD and joining the club was the right

Club was formed when schutzhund work was part of, rather than
separated from, the work, didn't that entail tracking, obedience,
herding, the works? It sort of boggled my mind as I've been thinking
about that comment the last few days. I know AKC stopped the bite
work, but shouldn't the emphasis be more spread than just the
conformation aspect? Just asking.
