I've seen my boss go to sleep at these conference calls. Of course with us it's
like a UN Meeting - at least 3-4 languages - Tiawanese, Spanish, Yankee and
of course Southern

My life revolves around conference calls....often with 30 people on a call at
once. It works well if there is a clear agenda and facilitator to call out
reports and moderate discussion. Net meeting or something of the sort is also
needed to display the agenda and any material needed for the call. Cynthia

I have to agree as well. I have participated in telephone interviews of job
candidates where there were only five of us. It was awkward at best, and
communication was poor. If it winds up hampering communication, when we have
so many important issues to resolve and events to plan, a conference call might
not be the best way to save money.
